So maybe it was Roberta's resolution that got me going but there is something about a manicure that instantly gives me a high. Its like my style cocaine. I can't help but show everyone around me how great my nails look.

What I Wore #1

In an effort to make the more out of my closet (where the number of items I wear on a regular basis has slowly dwindled down to a handful) I have decided to start a new series. It's called What I Wore.  It will depict my favorite outfit of the week, some weeks it may turn into what i (wish i) wore, but needless to say it will be about clothing. So without further adieu - #1:

1. Ragtime Popover Hoodie 2. Riding Pants (more realistically leggings... but lets be serious leggings are not as cool as riding pants) 3.Quilted Vest 4. Hunter Boots (yay Christmas lover) 5. Chambray shirt

I'll be honest, half of this outfit is in the mail as we speak - curse you JCrew 30% off sale!  So i guess technically this is what i WILL wear... I'm trying, I promise.

if this were the color of our room i would be happy. instead, its off-navy which i don't think is even a color, but it makes be depressed just looking at it. This blue on the other hand has a hint of teal i think, and makes it just lovely. Gosh paint is so crazy how it can change so much with just the littlest of shades..

Now that I have your attention... It has been so long since I had a real post on this blog.... like months! I'm not going to lie and say I have been super busy, although I have had my share of hectic (moving, new job, the holidays)... but now its back to calming down and I think I am ready to dive back in. Seriously this time.

I'm thinking more structure - to make it more interesting - as well as a bit more professional stuff mixed in. And bigger pictures, yes that for sure. What do you think? Are you ready?
